The funniest thing this Christmas was...
When Jacie opened up her diaper box. She was so disgusted. Those of you who have been following this blog know that on Thanksgiving Jacie went through the Toys R' Us ad and marked everything that she wanted. Well, she marked everything. Including a box of baby diapers.
In our family, something like that cannot be let go of too quickly. SOOO...
She did receive the desire of her heart yesterday. Very. Funny.
She was very happy to find a Jessie doll (from Toy Story) stashed deep in the offensive box.
She also got her beloved Buzz Lightyear doll. It is the one that says, "I am Buzz Lightyear..." repeatedly until the rest of us in the house want to throw it out the door. We won't though because she loves that Buzz. She is lucky we are nice.
I am usually overwhelmed at Christmas time because of the large quantity of activities in the short period of time (6 in all.)She seemed to be overwhelmed as well. Next year it won't come as such a shock. She will be an old pro at Christmas hopping.
She is currently eating peaches (like crazy.) She loves them. I just opened a restaurant size can and she will eat them all within the next couple of days. At least, I remind myself, if she is going to eat such large quantities, let it be fruit...
