Eating Like a Logger

Monday morning is here already...wow. It seems like just yesterday that we left for the campground, now we are home and the laundry is in...clean-up is almost done.

LM loved the campground. She did not want to come home but alas, all good things must come to an end.

We camp where there is a in ground pool. As I had said before, she loves to swim and so do we...sooo it was a perfect fit. She also perfected her bike riding skills. It is difficult for her to get her bike started because of the paralysis in her calves. She rides with her hips and upper leg. She also pushes so hard that she loses her pedals a lot. She has cuts down the back of her legs from the pedals but she won't quit. She is getting better though. The campground is relatively flat, so that help her. She hasn't learned to use her brakes yet...that makes me nervous. Very.

The good news for her is that in three weeks, we go out camping again with family. She will love that.

She is back to eating like a logger. I think that she must be growing. Sometimes, I can't get her to eat more than a bite of a taco, last night she ate two full tacos. She ate like that all weekend and this morning as well. We shall see if the rumor that adopted orphans can make up two sizes in clothes in three to six months is true...Angie
