Hmmmm...

How to differ between an attitude and just plain confusion. To be taken from the world you know and given to different people who don't speak your language, much less know their way around town....I wouldn't do well either.

She is really putting up a barrier between her and Angie it seems. Then again it is hard to decipher. We have had to start with the boundaries and Angie is a little quicker than I so she of course is the bad guy. In fact, today they were in the mall looking at toys and Ying pointed at some creepy looking bad guy and then pointed at Angie. Yet she still looks to her for guidance. Today she insisted on only holding the boy's hands while crossing the streets and found herself in a little bit of trouble from running ahead and out of the store when I tried to take her hand.

We brought a DVD player for in the hotel room but not enough DVD's that mean anything to her. So Angie thought she found the gold mine today and bought a few. However they are not compatible with our player. A little depressing for a little girl who was excited to see the Princess and The Frog......as it was for the rest of us!

To her credit we noticed that she does remember what we have asked Cindy to tell her not to do, so it may just all be misunderstandings. But the "tude" is obvious.
