Candy Land's Star Football Player

For those of you who read the last post, you probably think that we are raising an angry little fighter. So I would like to clarify. What we appear to be raising is a not just a angry little fighter but a ninja, cowboy, superman, sumo wrestler as well. Here I thought we were getting a little lady....

Jacie is quite the little character. She is actively involved in everything that she sees. I couldn't help but laugh at her as she donned her helmet and grabbed a football last night when she saw what we were watching on TV. Of course, she did not understand why we all didn't jump on the chance to chase her and the football all around the house.

When she finally joined us to watch the game she noticed that we were cheering, "Go Green Bay..."

She cheered as well, "Go Green Bean..."

The funniest thing ever.

She assimilates words that she has never heard to the ones that are present in her vocabulary. So for last night the Green Bay Packers were the Green Bean Packers. Makes sense to me.

I wish everyone could be along for the ride we are on. The laughs that come with the territory are worth all of the work. She is still sleeping this morning which is nice. I enjoy writing without the constant, "Why you play on [com]puter?" ringing in my head. She stands beside me and says that over and over again until I am ready to quit. What she doesn't understand is that I work, pay bills and (of course) blog here as well. Well, that was short lived. I am now scratching her back while typing this blog. Yeah, it looks as difficult as it sounds. She loves to have her back scratched by me because of my long nails. No one else in the house can scratch backs like me...so with her, it has become my full-time profession.

I attached a picture of our little football player from team, Green Bean. She spent most of the evening trying to send all of the pictures on the walls flying and trying to put the football through the television but I have to say she was the cutest football player I saw the whole night.

If you look closely at her helmet you can see that she wasn't a member of team Green Bean at all. She looked pretty loyal to team Jelly Bean to me. I wonder if Candy Land suits up a football team? She would fit right in.

Have you ever wondered why we laugh so loudly [with] her?

Hope everyone is well.
